The teacher for this class was Lucy Brydon, who like me live in Scotland. She is a wonderful artist and I fellt really inspired by her class and plan to make one or two more pieces.
I can't tell you of course how it was done, all I will say is that there was a gelli plate involved.
One of the things I love so much about the Lifebook classes is that they make me use some of my art supplies that have been neglected for years. I can't wait now to do some more playing with my gelli plate :o)
The animal I chose is a coyoti, and of course there had to be the inevitable moon he howls up to.
Well, that's iti for today, short and sweet. I apologize for not visiting in the last few days, I hope to do better at the weekend.
Have a lovely weekend everyone whe it comes, and thanks for your visit like always.

This is gorgeous Astrid. I love the background, and how the wolf is almost ghost like and is a part of the background. It was smart to add some texture to him. Hope the week is going well. Hugs-Erika
Wonderful page, Astrid! I just bought a piece of artwork featuring the moon and a couple of wolves in the background.

Beautiful - what deep rich colours, and I love your use of pattern and texture - the coyote looks fabulous with that textured stenciling (I'm guessing it's stenciling!). Love it!
Hi again Astrid,
I've just seen your comments on my blog - thanks so much for visiting - the leafy dies I used are mainly very cheap unbranded ones from China - they came through Ebay or Ali Express. I find them very good quality and a fraction of the cost of branded ones.

So absolutely amazing Astrid , oh I love this, with your howling coyote , the colors of blue are stunning together with the whiteness. I have my gelli plate - saved in a box, too !!!

Wow, what an amazing page - I love it! The blues and layers of patterns and texture are beautiful, and as we have a glass coyote howling at the moon this is just my thing 😁. Your Lifebook classes look very inspiring and it must be fun to get creative with the Gelli plate again, mmm maybe another item for my wish list ...lol 😉. Wishing you a very Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊
