Hello friends, how are your preparations for the big day going? Being retired, I am for once fairly on top of the game, and as far as Christmas cards go, I am nearly there. So here is one of my last sets, using bits and pieces left over from other cards and projects.
All these were done with Graphics 45 papers and mostly die cuts using Tim Holtz dies.
As you can see, all are done in a very similar design, with just subtle differences on each card.
It very much speeds up the process......
Anyway, that's pretty much it, I think the photos are really self explanatory, so no longwinded descriptions this time.

Your Vintage Christmas cards are so beautiful! It's amazing to think that they are created from leftovers from other card projects 😁. The Graphics 45 papers are so pretty, I think they may make it to my wish list which is getting longer everyone I visit you ...lol... it's a good job that it's Christmas 😉. I always enjoy the leftovers creations - though you'd never think these were that - very polished and beautifully put together. Glad (though a little envious) to hear you're on top of it all!

Each one is so special that I can't choose a fav Astrid. Love the little bling button on the bow, and the berries, and the ring around the birdie! It just goes to show you how something so small can change it so much. I'm gonna go with the Father and baby as fav - donno if they are deer - but looks like it to me!!! LOVELY inspiration. Astrid, I don't know if there is already a tutorial somewhere on your blog, but I would love one from you on card making- your cards just blow me away when i look at them! How do you do it? Your layers and the elements...when i tried the other day, have ended up in the trash, not even the recycle pile! argh!
Anyway, your cards are absolutely beautiful and it is always a joy to stop by and see what you are creating!

So many wonderful Christmas cards Astrid. I am loving these Graphic 45 papers you used. The traditional red and green palette and patterns are so festive! The images are wonderful, my favourite is definitely the baby deer with Daddy, awwwwww! That 3D bow is fantastic and so is the die cut one. You've been so busy with Christmas cards, don't forget to take time out for eggnog and figgy pudding! hugs :)
These are STUNNING Astrid! The simple addition of the die cuts really bring them to life. I just have to have those gorgeous dies. Each of these cards is so festive and your design is so gorgeous it bears repeating. Although similar in design, each is so unique and truly a work of art! I've just gotten that dimensional bow, but have yet to open it. Now I am inspired, but kicking myself for not getting the flatter bow. It looks fabulous with the greens! Sending hugs; I think my computer time is up!
