Today is Mothers Day in the US and it seemed just the right day to let you know about this. If you have not heard of this before, please read!! I am thinking of all the mothers who lost their daughters on that terrible day
On May 15, blog, post, tweet, or make some other artsy noise in support of the right of girls around the world to have an education without fear of violence. May 15 is the one month anniversary of the kidnapping of nearly 300 Nigerian girls who were in school. On May 15th, we're hosting an online auction at http://www.32auctions.com/bringbackourgirls. Donate a tag, bookmark, make a canvas, any art will do! For info how to upload your work to the auction site, click "Files" and download our FAQs. Also download our flyer and post it on your wall. Any questions, this is the place to ask them!
I will be giving two canvasses to this auction. I will show them on May the 15th. Hope you will participate too. If we all join together we can make a difference! If you want to know more and join in, you can find out more by joining this Facebook group: Bring Back Our Girls

Well done Astrid, this is such a worthy cause. I cannot begin to imagine how those Mothers (and Fathers) must be feeling... Anne xx
This is so sad and what you and others are doing is so heartfelt! I did not know of this until the yesterday as I had company, but I will figure out a way to help! Hugs!
