Serenity

So I told you it was going to be inevitable...... I am going to turn into a scrapbooker......
The photo is of my beautiful daughter in law with little Lucia a few days after she was born.
I have to say, I really enjoy doing these arty LOs, messing about with gesso stamps and sprays, it's almost like doing a journal page. Here are a couple of close ups still

As using Gesso, stamps, inks and pretty papers are definitely my favourite products and using them together is a favourite technique, plus the subjects of my LO belong to my most favourite people in the world, I thought I would also enter this for Simon Says Stamp and Show, where the theme is "favourites" this week.

This is a glorious work of art, Astrid... and you're right - your amazing scrapbook pages aren't so far from your other glorious work - just with the added beauty of a photograph of those you love. Utterly beautiful!

Dear Astrid, I just had to have a look at your page, in between kids and family dinners :-)
How very stunning a piece you have created, around your beautiful Lucia and her mother.I love your colours and mists, and the love between mother and child--and grandmother.
So beautiful.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
