The theme at Wednesday Stamper is fairies. All I had time for was a little bookmark.

Mixed Media Monday "Layers"

The theme for the week starting June 1 is Layers. I made a 4 x 4, it has about 6 different layers, though that is hard to see. I started to collage with some scraps of an antiques womans magazine. Then I went over it with texture paste, Gesso and acrylic paint. Then I used some back ground stamps and finally added ephemera, an image and some metal embellishments. I've called it "Angels Looking After Me"

Wednesday Stamper "Green an dPurple"

The theme at Wednesday Stamper is to create something using purple and green. Not a colour combo I would naturally choose, but hey, nothing like a good challenge...
I chose the image because of it's colouring, felt that the lady looked rather like a greek goddess, so that's what prompted the words. I covered it all in UTEEH to give it a glass like appearance. When cold I cracked it and then rubbed vintage photo distress into the cracks. Not very successful. The background stamp I think is a Tim Holtz but I can't quite remember.

Been busy making mini books with my bind it all for a charity craft fair. I feel a bit nervous as I don't know whether people would want to buy something like this, but I had great fun making them, there are more on the way...

Gothic Arches "Garden Sprite

A whole week has passed already and I have not blogged once so I thought I have to take part in at least one challenge this week, - so once again, Gothic Arches is the one...
The background of my arch was created with a spellbinder stencil which I embossed with the help of my cuttlebug on dark cardstock. The rest was collaged and then some detail added with hand drawing.

Gothic Arches "Peace"

The theme at Gothic Arches is "Peace".
I tried to create a peaceful mood with my collaged arch. The image is from an old postcard I bought in a fleemarket. Sadly it has not scanned well....

TMTA Jewellery

The theme at Think Monday, think ATC is Jewellery. The lady on this ATC wears a beautiful necklace, I embellished with little strips of "pearls" to re-emphasize the jewellery theme.

The theme at TGIF is "Childhood" because of it being Mothersday on Sunday in Germany.
I made an ATC to the theme, all I had time for this week.

Fabric wall hanger

This is a little 4 x 4 fabric wall hanger which I made for a monthly swap with Ann Buskens (Lasize 54). The oen she made for me is on her blog :o)

Think Monday Think ATC "Peacocks"

The theme at TMTA is peacocks. I used a stamp which I had not used for years, - coloured it with twinkling H2Os and mounted it on some fabric which I then embellished. Unfortunately the scan does not do it justice at all. The fabric actually shimmers.

Mixed Media Monday "Inspirational words"

Inspirational words is the theme at MMM. I altered a little jewlery box. It is a birthday present for a friend. Innocence is the word that inspires me at the moment. There is far too much sinicism in the world.

Gothic Arches "Vintage Women""

The theme at Gothic Arches is Vinatge Women, well what can I say, one of my favourite themes for sure. Decided to use my sewing machine and some of my new Bosskut swirl dies, I think they are great as they work very well on the cuttlebug. A bit tricky to get out as they are so intricate, but the great thing is that I am sure you can use the card thats left as a stencil...

SaWo "Make a Collage"

The theme at Saturday's Workout is to make a collage.
I make a lot of collages but decided to do one specially for the challenge, it's a 4 x 4 using Digi Collage sheet "white" sheet for all the background and the image.

TGIF Gothic arches ATC

The theme at TGIF is to make an atc sized gothic arch. I decided to do a tryptich like in the example. I called it "Life is a Journey" and showed a different stage of womanhood on each of the three little panels.
