Friday Freebie and a mini tutorial

 Hello friends,

Today I have a little project to share with you and a freebie as the title of this post would suggest.

The project is a little notebook, (roughly passport size) created with help of my latest collection on Etsy. This little notebook will become part of a larger journal I am working on. More on that at some later stage. To be honest, the freebie was created, because I wanted some more embellishments to go with the collection, so now you can enjoy them, whether you decide to get the collection or not 😄

The notebook cover was made with a little file folder that is part of the collection. I cut it out, sewed around the edges, folded it in half and then made some inside pages with the help of a mix of papers from the collection and some coffee dyed paper. I sewed them in with a simple 3 hole pamphlet stitch.
A double page with some of the elements that come with the collection and a pocket, which is the height of the pages, created with coffee dyed thicker (160gms) paper.
Another double page. Since putting this booklet together, I have toned down the music behind the roses, as I found it too harsh, so this paper in the collection is now slightly different...
Another pocket created with coffee dyed paper and decorated with some lace and one of the embellishments that comes with the collection.
And here a final page with another pocket made in a similar way, and one of the tags that fits inside.
And here finally is the freebie, like usual, if you want the high resolution version, please email me.
Sorry for this extra step, but the high res version is too large a file to upload here directly.
Well, that's it for now. Next week I will be back with some pages from the larger journal and a very different freebie. Meanwhile:.....
Happy crafting and stay safe

The future awaits... and some freebies

Hello friends, it's Friday and that means I am sharing here on my blog a few of the things I have been doing lately.
First up, my usual weekly calendar/to do journal:
This time instead of covering the right hand page with gesso, I added some paper from the Stamperia Blue star collection and then used that as the background for some further playing around with Distress Crayons, paper serviettes, some stencils and some elements from another Stamperia collection, Voyages Fantastique. Below a few close ups:

I have also been busy creating some things for some snail mail swaps with various people.
This is an altered index card and envelope to send it in.
Finally, - as most of you know, I love journaling and recently got involved with a swap with another journaller on Instagram. So I decided to create some journalling cards and other little embellishments she can use in her own journals if she likes, and thought I could share them with you all here as downloadable freebies.

Most of the imagery in these sheets came from the Graphics Fairy, so thank you Karen for the amazing things you offer on your site!!!

Well, that's it for this Friday, but exceptionally I will have another post going live on Sunday as I was invited by the lovely and talented Mandy to be host for the Sunday Post Card Challenge,
so if you want to see the postcard I created and the theme I chose, please do come back then.

Meanwhile thank you like always for your visit today

Happy Friday Valentines Freebie

Hello everyone and so lovely to see you.

For a while I thought I would stop posting my Friday Freebies, but the fact is, they appear to be so popular and I get so many lovely emails about them, that I have decided I will continue to post them, probably about once a month.
I will put full collage sheets here on my blog and if you are interested in individual png files, I will be happy to send them to you as attachments, just email me. So here goes, for the month of January two Valentines Collage sheets. Hope you like them.

You are welcome to print them as often as you like and use them for your own creations, be they cards, tags, bookpages or whatever makes you happy. You are also welcome to sell what you make with them. All I ask is that you don't sell the collage sheets as they are.

Images used are all from old Victorian postcards found in different places on the web. I have altered them in all cases and anyway, they should be copyright free.
Thank you for visiting, enjoy and happy crafting!

Friday Freebie Rosy Posy

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's Friday Freebie.
The paper I have created for you was definitely inspired by one of the papers of the Prima Romantique collection. This paper line is pretty much impossible to come by in the UK as it is sold out just about everywhere. So, I decided to design my own.... not quite the same I know, but then hey, I'm not a pro. Still, I hope you like it anyway. I have given you lots of different options: 6 x 6, A4 and some tags and things, - enjoy.

Friday Freebie and happy summer

Hello everyone, lovely to see you here, and happy Summer Solstice to you all! I would like to specially welcome my new followers and Bloglovin followers. I'm so glad you decided to come along for the ride...

After a short break I am back with a few new papers and tags. I tried to give them both a vintage and a summery feel, - enjoy!

A note card. If you print it on white card stock you can fold it and write inside.

Well, hope you like them. They are free for you to do with as you please. The only thing I ask is that you don't sell them unaltered.

Thank you for visiting and s
ee you next time.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
