Leftover fun

Hi al and like always, thank you for taking the time to drop in.
As my crafty/arty journey is slowly starting to change, I am increasingly wondering what to do with all the supplies I have collected over the years....
Well, here was a fun little idea I found on Pinterest. A tag accordion booklet created with some of those endless left over papers and collage bits that I have and that are filling up boxes and drawers...

I cut the tags with the Tim Holtz die, connected two at a time with wide double sided tape and then covered the backs with further tags cut from design/ scrapbook papers. Below some close ups:
A mix of Prima paper and Kaisercraft ephemera pieces.
More Prima and image from Paper Whimsy.
More of the same
A few words were added here and there using Tim Holtz word stickers.
Here the back of the booklet, using up further papers.
The whole booklet folds together accordion style of course, and can be held together with a book ring.
Or opened up and decorate a shelf or mantle piece somewhere.

Well, that's it, quick, easy, fun to do and good to use up some of those leftovers we all have collected.

Thank you for visiting and have a happy week!

You are not alone there Astrid, I think we all change directions as time goes on, I often have pangs of guilt when I looks at things that sit unused for so long.

Your accordion tag book is a delight and each element a little work of art.

Another little masterpiece here from your hands, and what a beautiful piece it is. I love your little tagfolder, it´s sooo beautiful and such a great idea to use some of those scrap pieces, even though I don´t have that many anymore, as the girls are getting older, as they just love it, when they´re allwoed to use papers from the scrapbox, when they´re here making their stuff too, and they can soon use a lot, which I´m sure, you´ll learn, when your grandkids grow a little older too ha ha ha. I love your idea here and keep it in mind for a later time when I need a little something for someone. Thanks sooo much for sharing it with us here. Have a wonderful day here the last day of the Whitsun, if you celebrate that.

Definitely going to give this a go Astrid as I can never get rid of any collaged pieces or bits of beautiful paper. They are all squirrelled away in my bit boxes but they just might be seeing the light of day soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

Such a charming way to use the precious little saved pieces and create a work of art. I can see a little project with my Grand daughter coming up very soon. She loves to get into all the pretty bits and make "precious" things. Thanks for the inspiration :D

What lovely tags and so good to use up some of the bits & bobs that we are all inundated with no matter how hard we try to use them up. Yes, we are all guilty of needing that latest "whatever" that is the very latest trend lol. Good luck with the using/ rehoming

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
