Back with a bang.....

Hello everyone and welcome! Thank you for dropping in after my long absence from blogging while I was in Australia.

Well finally I am back home and slowly getting back into the swing of things and today I have not one, but two projects due. I am sorry to say I also did not manage to visit many of you during my absence, but from now on I should be properly back and look forward to seeing what you are up to!
This is the second project I am sharing today, the other one can be seen HERE:
This one an altered box holding a set of alphabet stamps as you can see.

To get a full description, more photos and a step by step, please visit A Vintage Journey, where I am sharing a Destination Inspiration post today. Hope to see you there!
Have a great week

This is soooo fabulous and amazing, that it litterally blows my mind away. I totally LOVE how you transform a plain ordinary box into such a jawdropping piece of beautiful art. You are such a clever and talented girl. Boy I wish I lived closer to you, so I could just come and see you work on these things, that would be just awesome.

So lovely to have you back, Astrid - and two stunning projects to kick us off. I've just been gazing at your gorgeous leaves over at Calico, and I saw the DI post last night, but didn't comment then as I was on my iPad and most of the time the comments seem to disappear, so I'm heading over there now to leave some big love!

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
