Happy Pie Day or the Wonder of Number (it will take abaout 5 minutes to read.....
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping in!
Today is a post a bit different from my normal ramblings....
Yesterday was Pie Day. Something that usually I would take no notice of at all, until a friend send me this link: Pie Day
Check it out and be prepared to be amazed!
Thank you for the link Astrid. I always loved Maths when I was at school but only realised how they can be linked to art in the last few years when my husband explored fractals.
Wow - amazing - who knew that there were six 9s in a row at some point in Pi. Thank you for the link... though I then got drawn onward of course. Did you see these extraordinary optical illusions (never mind the dress!)?
I had no idea...I always thought Pie as in yummy pie, and not pi. LOVEd the pictures...the colors, the art involved. Very cool read...thanks for pointing it out.
Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
