Tag a Day project # 5

Hello everyone, thank you for dropping by and I very much hope you are not getting too bored with my tag a day project. If you want to know what this project is about, please check here.
So here is the latest tag:
I seem to be stuck in a blue and/or green groove, but the good news is, that this whole project is actually helping and I do feel my mojo is slowly coming back. This is in no small part due to all of your wonderful support and very kind comments. They mean a lot to me and I really want to thank you for that!!

Anyway, the background to this one was created with the help of Distress inks and paints (plus some other fluid acrylic paints, Golden brand) and I found they mix perfectly with the Distress ones. The flowers were created with the help of the torn top layer of a paper serviette. Little stamping on this one, just some background stamps. The sentiments were from an old stamp I had in my stash (Indigo Blue maybe? I can't remember) and the word Dreams was cut from a Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous stamp.

Here are few details still:

Well, that's it for today.  There are still a few more tags to come as I decided I probably will keep going with them until I have about 12, as I really enjoy doing them. Thank you so much for visiting and have a great weekend!!

This is just gorgeous Astrid, a muted but beautiful colour palette and wonderful images have combined to make a mixed media tag that is so attractive and pleasing to look at. Sensational.

Another stunningly beautiful tag Astrid. You have the extraordinary and almost unrivalled ability to blend different elements/textures seamlessly (who knows where the serviette on this starts and ends). I am in awe yet again, and can't wait for no. 6 now! Hugs, Jenny x

Bored?!? No... that would be a big, fat "no"! Love how you've incorporated the paper napkin into this beauty; the flowers make a lovely, delicate focal image, and your surrounding layers of texture and stencilling and stamping are as gorgeous as ever. So glad to hear you feel the mojo stirring - from the outside it's definitely alive and kicking!

The mix of mediums you used for the tag background is wonderful! Not bored at all here, if anything so inspired! You reminded me of napkins I have that I planned for a totally different project! This tag is stunning and that sentiment pretty much says it all! I love this and am so glad your mojo is returning! Have a wonderful week! Hugs!

I could never be bored with these gorgeous tags! Long time ago, I downloaded your free digital tags and after all this time, I feel that yours were the best tags. So I decided to visit your site again and what a treat it is! I hope you will share the entire process of such a tag some day. I would LOVE to try something like this but don't know where to begin. I do have pretty serviettes in my stash :) TFS and thanks for the amazing inspiration!

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
