Tag a Day project #4

Hello everyone and a warm welcome to visitors and followers old and new!

Today I am sharing tag number 4. This one took a long time to complete as I kept starting over and over again.... There must be about 10 layers underneath what you can see and a lot of Gesso, but hey ho, it is what it is now....
As this project is all about my inner journey, it has a travel kind of theme again. All stamps (apart from the word journey which was made with little alpha stamps) are from La Blanche. I just love their stamps.

Here are some details:

Tim Holtz Tattered Banners die

Big flowers made by me with the help of Spellbinders Rose Creations die, little flowers by Wild Orchid crafts, leaves, fussy cut la Blanche stamps.

Passport stamp by La Blanch, butterflies are part of the stamp, I just stamped them twice to get the 3D effect.

Prima wood button treated with crackle glaze

Well that's it for tag 4, thank you for visiting!

Hello Astrid
I wish I could be your partner on your journey, you are creating stunners, even though your mojo is at its low ebb. Your Bg is just mouthwatering, and I bet you had a great time mixing the layers, as it relates warmth and happiness.
You have beautiful texture and gorgeous flowers/elements, the palette is very attractive to the eye.... I love it.
Smiles:)

All the layers definitely add that extra something to this tag - can't believe you've lost your mojo when you create these little beauties.
BTW Thank you for leaving me the comment about the CC blog - didn't realise there could have been a problem for some folks in seeing it.

Love the layers of gesso and texture on this as they've added a different feel to this tag Astrid. And as for those flowers! At first I assumed they'd been bought but no, you've just been really clever when making them (adore the leaves:). Day 4 and another winner here Astrid. Hugs, Jenny x

They really are beautiful stamps (just ordered my first LBs - should be awaiting me on my return!)... and you've created another beauty of a tag around them. The additional butterflies on the passport are just wonderful, and the depth of the delicious blue-green colours is only enhanced by all those discarded layers underneath... so worth persevering - it's lovely!

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
