Green is the New Blue

Hello everyone, welcome and so lovely to see you here, A special welcome of course to my new followers.

The other day Butterfly from Words and Pictures posted a little hanging made from a Kaisercraft MDF piece. I loved the idea and being the stash hoarder that I am, of course had quite a few of these tucked away in the bottom of a drawer waiting to be turned into a mini book one day. Feeling inspired I decided to create a little hanger of my own, so here is my version, in what seems to be rapidly becoming my new favourite colour, namely green.
The little board was coloured with some Fresco Paint colours, I only have a few so I added some Golden fluid acrylic colours into the mix too. Texture was created with a Dylusions stencil, and the stamp is Graphics 45.

Here are a few close ups still:
Some flowers sprayed with a mix of Cosmic Shimmer Sprays, a bit of lace and a Tim Holtz pen nib

Sewing Machine charm from The Ribbon Girls and some background stamps from my stash

Like usual, the raised bit were high lighted with Treasure Gold
Well I hope you like it, these colours remind me of Spring,  just can't wait until it will get a bit warmer and sunnier here in the north. Thank you for visiting and just to let you know that I  so appreciate your comments, thank you for always taking the time for that!

Hello Astrid
This is a gorgeous wall-hanging, it is very artistic, with the yummy texture and colour palette co-existing with the metal elements. It is very pleasing to the eye.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
