Hello everyone and HAPPY EASTER!!!
Thank you for visiting today and I hope that whatever your religious persuasion, you will have a wonderful day, and remember, -something incredibly wonderful is always possible!!
I love this sentiment and I decided to use it on the tag I am sharing today, as to me, it fits perfectly with Easter day.
The tag is made with two different sized tags, number 8 and 10 Ranger Manila tags. They were inked with various Distress Inks. The central one was embossed with a Tim Holtz texture fade and then I stamped the butterflies from the Papillion plate in the center. I stamped the background to the larger tag with several old text stamps. The ticket is a Whimsy Stamp Set I seem to remember, the flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchard Crafts and the little heart I picked up at my local Hobbycraft shop a while back. The sentiment is Tim Holtz too. The Joy brad was a left over from a Christmas DT pack. Here are some close ups still:
Hope you will have a great day among loved ones, and don't eat too much chocolate!!

Friday Freebie Bird and Butterfly
Hello everyone and welcome to this week's freebie!
A mixture of elements this week, not very different from a few weeks ago, but that one was very popular, so I am hoping you will like this one too.
It is supposed to be Spring here in Scotland, and yet outside it's far from Spring like, so I am hoping that with these images a little bit of cheer will come your way, even if you are longing for some sunshine.
It's Good Friday today, a special day for some, a day of contemplation and thought. Whatever this day means to you, I wish you joy and happiness for the coming weekend and above all loads of creativity!!
Here are the usual pngs
The lovely bird image was a freebee from The Graphics Fairy. And I am afraid to say I can't remember where the flowers came from, I think a freebie from Flickr somewhere...
My TOU are like usual: Free for personal use, you can sell any project you have made using the images, but please don't sell in digital form as they are.
Thank you for visiting and enjoy!!

Travel Tag
Hello everyone, welcome and lovely to have you visiting again in my little corner of blog land. And like always, a very specially warm welcome to my new followers. I feel honoured that you decided to follow me!
Today I am sharing one of the enormous size 12 Ranger tags with you. I love playing with these and this time I decided to use it sideways. I may decide to turn it into the cover of a book. As you can see, it kind of has a travel theme. For those of you who are regulars here, you will know that very soon I am off to Australia, tomorrow is the day we are setting off, so travel is rather on my mind .....
Anyway, the background was created using some Distress paints (Weathered Wood), Inks, again Weathered Wood, Victorian Velvet and Tea Dye. At one point the background was quite subtle with stamping in Plum and Coffee archival, but then a lot of that was covered by embellishments and spritzing with some Cosmic Shimmer and Dylusions sprays. As you can see I also embossed parts of it with a Texture Fade folder. The vocal image is a la Blanche stamp, the other stamps were from the Artistic Stamper the writing and rings and Tim Holtz the little checker board.
Like usual, I'll let the pictures tell the story:
Prima flowers, a butterfly charm, coloured with black Alcohol ink and some wired string (hard to see on this photo) which I curled around a paint brush. The word journey was stamped on some tissue paper and then adhered to a part of a Tattered Banner die by Mr Holtz again.
For the next few weeks as I am visiting my grand daughter, it is going to be a bit quieter here, but I have some projects scheduled and I definitely will come and visit as much as I can, to see what you are creating...

A lovely Prima clock
A wonderful La Blanche stamp and the backing paper was created with the help of an old stamp I had flying around, I think it was a Paper Artsy one

Tickets galore freebie
Hello everyone and welcome!! A specially warm welcome to my new followers too, thank you so much for joining here and I hope you'll enjoy it and will find some inspiration. Can you believe Spring has finally officially stared?
Today I have created loads of tickets for you. So many people told me they like the tickets, well here you are loads of them. I have also included a plain one, and a whole collage sheet full of them. Enjoy!
Just a little reminder of my TOU:
You may print these images as often as you like for your crafting needs.
-You may re-size and/or alter them and incorporate them into your own digital work
- You may make things with these images and then sell what you have made, as cards, mini books or whatever your creative mind comes up with. If you want to give me credit that's great, but you don't have to.
- You may not sell these images unaltered either as sheets, stickers or similar!
Well, that's it. Thank you for visiting and see you next time.

Happy Birthday
Hello everyone and welcome, thank you so much for stopping by!
I stamped the stamp onto some old 7 Gypsies paper I had flying around, trimmed around it, distressed the edges and darkened them a bit with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink, matted onto a bit of white and then a larger bit of the same paper and finally mounted it all onto a bit of matching light blue card stock and embellished wit a few pearls.
Well, that's it, thank you so much for visiting and see you next time.
Today I have a simple birthday card to share with you... I don't consider myself a traditional card maker really, but let's face it, sometimes we all need a birthday card, and one can't have the amount of crafty stuff that I have flying around my craft room and not make your own birthday cards right? And to be honest, sometimes I actually really, really enjoy making traditional cards. This one is for my daughter in law that I am going to see really soon (yippee). Her birthday is on the day we arrive in Australia, so I'll take it along with me. I used a stamp and die set from Heartfelt Creations, the Tattered Florals set. The flowers were coloured with a mixture of the new Tim Holtz acrylic paints and Distress inks. The sentiment was computer generated.

Green is the New Blue
Hello everyone, welcome and so lovely to see you here, A special welcome of course to my new followers.
The other day Butterfly from Words and Pictures posted a little hanging made from a Kaisercraft MDF piece. I loved the idea and being the stash hoarder that I am, of course had quite a few of these tucked away in the bottom of a drawer waiting to be turned into a mini book one day. Feeling inspired I decided to create a little hanger of my own, so here is my version, in what seems to be rapidly becoming my new favourite colour, namely green.
The little board was coloured with some Fresco Paint colours, I only have a few so I added some Golden fluid acrylic colours into the mix too. Texture was created with a Dylusions stencil, and the stamp is Graphics 45.
Here are a few close ups still:
Well I hope you like it, these colours remind me of Spring, just can't wait until it will get a bit warmer and sunnier here in the north. Thank you for visiting and just to let you know that I so appreciate your comments, thank you for always taking the time for that!

Memories of times gone by
Hello everyone, here we are, it's the weekend and what a busy week it has been! Today I am sharing my final project for Snazzys this month, using up the last scraps of paper from the wonderful Engraver Collection by Prima which was our DT Pack this time round. To be honest, there is not much left to be seen of the original papers, but I used them, I promise, as well as the stamps and flowers that come with the collection..
Hope you like the hanger I made, and of course like usual, a full description of this project can be found on the DT Blog
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will have a wonderful and creative weekend!!
