Playing Catch Up

Like most of the rest of the crafting world it seems, I signed up for Tim Holtz's Creative Chemistry 101 class. Unfortunately I was away from home when the class started and only came back yesterday, so I was finally able to start my tags today. Here are the first ones:
Tag 1 Blended Spritz & Flick

Unfortunately I did not manage to get nice small droplets, I think I need to practice this one...

Brushless Watercolour

This is the one I struggled with most as I did not have suitable stamps somehow. In the end I used two Darkroom Door stamps, and now it is my favourite so far. I added the strip of old print for an arty effect.
This is an extra one I did, using the same colours as the  brushless water colour. I combined Wrinkle Free distress and  Spritz and Flick

And this is the last one, Wrinkle Free Distress. Wished I had added more blue....

These are all great Tags Astrid, I love the watercolour one too, but thats because I am learning to do watercolours.
I think the last one doesn't need any more blue, I think the amount on it adds real interest.
have a lovely weekend Hugs Mau xx

Glad you're home safe Astrid and I hope you had a good trip.

I signed up for the fab Tim classes too and enjoyed every minute of the videos. You put me to shame though as I've only had time to watch the techniques and not tried one yet. Thank goodness we have lifetime access! Mind you I knew when I signed up I wouldn't be able to play whilst the classes were on ........ too much family stuff to sort out still!

I think you've done a wonderful job of these techniques and your tag backgrounds are gorgeous. Lots of times maybe they don't appeal to us until you put something over them and then they suddenly take on a new life altogether but I think they're stunning anyway.

Hugs
Lesley Xx

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
