After all my Christmas cards I had quite a few bits and pieces left over and decided to challenge myself to use them. Here are three tags:
The stamps used are little peg stamps from Rubberstamp Tapestry. Not used those for ages, they don't seem to be very fashionable right now (isn't it funny how you get fashions in crafting also...)Ah well, we can't use Tim Holtz all the time can we now. I do like him ( a lot) but sometimes I think there is just a little too much TH stuff out there. (It's fine you can scold me if you want lol)
Anyway here for the detail:
The last one uses Bo Bunny paper and the stamp that came with the December issue of Craft Stamper.

Birthday Card

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!

Very pretty, love the colours!

very nice work!
What beautiful tags. Your christmas presents will look stunning. I too like TH but in small doses, and I'm not a lover of excessive grunge LOL. XX
These are lovely. Very Christmassy!

So wonderful hangers Astrid.
Gorgeous paper art. Love them all.
I love the recycled pieces added to make these hangers. Such a good idea to re-use what we already have.
These are beautiful Astrid and such a good idea. Some lucky people are going to be delighted to receive pressies adorned with these.
I have to admit to being guilty of lots of waste and I should take a leaf out of your book. I really love TH's products but I like lots of others too just as much. You've reminded me I have a couple of Christmas sets of those Tapestry stamps which I probably haven't used for a couple of years. They deserve an outing!

geweldig, Astrid, om oude restjes te hergebruiken, doe ik ook altijd. De kleuren bij elkaar zijn prachtig. love from Holland
Lovely tags, Astrid!
So beautifully created!
Beautiful tags Astrid, x
These are wonderful - great way to use your scraps and beautifully made. Afraid I share your sentiments about TH, too - way too much coverage and sometimes blogs start to all look too much alike... I love to see something a bit different.
Love your tags Astrid. I have seen peg stamps before but never really knew what to do with them. Hmmm you have my interest peaked.
I agree TH is good but there is way toooo much of him out there. I love grunge but it is refreshing to use bright colours and combos or our own.
take care and keep creating.
