Monthly Calendar page for March
Here is my monthly calendar page for March. The background was created with some spray inks I have had lying around for years. I used Dyan Weaverley's ghosting technique. You can find this technique if you go to the Art from the Heart website. The bird images are from various collage sheets and the fairy images from a set of Hero Art stamps I just purchased. They are stamps made together with Graphics 45 Once upon a Springtime collection.I used some Tim Holtz tissue tape around the edges. Love that stuff!

Birthday Card
Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!

I've been following these calendar pages on a few blogs, they fascinate me. I love your take of March - I love birds and so this of course speaks to me. I also am very fond of the beautiful color. It has that March feeling - spring is in the air, but you still feel the chill.
