Rose in Winter
Today is the day that I leave for Australia to be with my youngest son for Christmas.
I just want to thank all my blogging friends for their support and wonderful comments. Thank you so much they are very much appreciated.
I will not be blogging much while away, other than perhaps the odd photograph. I hope to visit many of your blogs though while away and look forward to the inspiration.
Wishing all the very best holiday season!
This picture is a photo I took in my garden the other day, jazzed up a bit with some textures from Brenda Starr and Katmary on flickr, they can be found in the textures for layers group. Thank you both!
It looks quite cool printed out with a bit of glitter added, - feel free to use.

What an amazing photograph, I don't think I have ever seen a rose with snow on it.
Have a really wonderful Christmas in Australia :)
I am sure you are enjoying your trip, and are glad to be missing the second dose of winter snow.

Hi Astrid, my name is Cassie. I saw your comments on Jane Tregenza's blog wanting to know where to purchase the Graphic 45 Once Upon a Sprintime papers. I live in Geelong, Victoria Australia and the shops here don't have them yet. I actually got them by ordering them off ebay.com in the U.S. It took two weeks for them to get to me, but I still have them before the shops here in Australia. I hope this info helps and enjoy your time in Australia with your son :o)
Hi Astrid, I'm glad you got my message. Yes, I know of Paper 2, but I haven't been there yet. I have a friend who went there a few weeks ago and she told me it is expensive lol and that our local scrapstore is better. Our local scrapstore has a website www.chandoncraft.com.au if you would like to have a look. There is also a great scrapbooking store in Werribee if you know where that is. It is a bit of a drive from Mornington but well worth it if you get the chance while your here. They have heaps of G45 papers there too, it is called Scrappe Angels. Hope this all helps and you get those gorgeous papers your after. I am going to make a shadow box today hopefully with mine.
Take care
Cassie
