Mixed Media Monday "Time of Day"

The theme at MMM is Time of Day, well, my favourite times of the day are dusk and dawn. I love it when there is still a hint of light, yet you can see the first stars coming out already. My piece is portraying Dawn. I created the background with a dreamweaver stencil which i put through my cuttlebug. The forground image is an altered image from Shabby Cottage Studio.

Astrid, I love how you have used lighting effects to show dusk and dawn which I agree are the best times of the day. The image is beautiful and the colours exquisite. Great work.

I really love these-- and the stars are perfect. I can almost see them sparkle! So moody too.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
