Think Monday, Think ATC "Hands"

The theme this week is Hands. Great theme, I love hands. Unfortunately though, I don't own any stamps with hands, so i resorted to an image and chose Durers "Praying Hands". The little saying fitted the theme for me.

Gothic Arches

The theme this week by Gothic Arches is free, as they are having a two week break. Here is my creation, I called it Fairy Queen.

The background is sponged with Adirondac dye inkpads, then over stamped and then i added some golden glaze and glitter.

Sunday Postcard "Artists"

The theme this week is artists. I chose Sulamith Wulfing, one of my favourites, particularly when I am in a sort of romantic sentimental mood.
I took 3 of her images, collaged them and then over spunged, over stamped and generally altered them. I've called the final thing "butterfly child".

Theme Thursday "Fairies"

The challeng on Theme Thursday this week was Fairies. I don't normally do "cute", but i could not resist this little image...
Background is coloured with colorbox chalk pads, then stamped with adirondack dye ink.

Wednesday Stamper - "Sisters"

This week the challenge was to create something with the theme Sisters. I decided to do an ATC.

TMTA theme "round"

Here is my contribution for this week's TMTA challenge. The theme was "round". Some thing to do with football championships.... oh dear, I am so not in to sport, specially not football. Anyway, I did the background a few days ago then sponged and stamped with various stamps, blocked out a circle and finally added the central image mounted on a punched out circle again. Obviously then the thing was finished with some round brats.

Round Robin Journal

I'm involved in a round robin journal with some amazing crafters. As they are putting their first pages on their blogs I'm starting to feel smaller and smaller :o(

I did my first page quite a while ago, then last week I thought it looked too buzy so I did another one, now after seeing some of the others I'm thinking oh dear, maybe I'll do it a third time, - but then hey, I guess I have to acccept that everyone is different and this happens to be my style, and as teacher i do like my theme "Children of a Bygone Age".

Make a Moo or Two - Cats

Wednesday Stamper Eyelets

The theme at Wednesday Stamper was eyelets. Always love to use those. used some copper beads as a further embellishment and threaded them through the eyelets on some wire.

Crazy Amigo Blue and Brown

Here is my entry for this week's challenge which is blue and brown. I think they are probably my favourite colours too, particularly for vintage style cards etc.

Midsummer Night (Sunday Postcard)

A new challenge blog. Like the idea, the size is 6" x 4". The theme this week was Summer. My immediate association was "Midsummer Night's Dream". The card i made is quite dark and maybe not very summery, but it's raining here and at least it captures my mood... dreamy with a little magic touch, at least that was the idea...
