Tag book complete

Here are the final pages for my tag book (see post below)
Front of final tag. Again I  drew over the original image to bring it out more and then collaged some further details and added embellishments. I think that this is my favourite.

Altered tags, the next installments

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good weekend. A few days ago I posted an altered Crafty Individuals tag. A pack of 5 of these were given to me on commission to alter them and make them into a tag book.
They are great fun to do, although at times also a bit tricky, because one side has beautiful printing on them, and it's not so easy to try and enhance them without spoiling the beautiful design that's there already. The back of the tag is quite plain, so there, there is plenty of space to play.
Anyway here are my next lot of attempts.

Friday Freebie tags

I had some unexpected free time on my hands and did not feel like getting inky, so played with some pixels instead. Here is the result. Like usual, many thanks to the wonderful Graphics Fairy and her endless resources of free images and also some other kind souls whose images I have downloaded over the years.
Like always you may take these tags for your own personal use. They are quite dark, I guess because it was such a cold and dark day here again.

Altered tag

I have not posted for ages as I have been incredibly busy, both at work and with creating and scheduling projects for my various design teams. As I am away for most of July and had to schedule my July posts too well and create the projects of course. But today I finally had some time to play. I was sent a pack of 5 large decorated tags by Crafty Individuals. Someone has asked me to alter them for her and make them into a tag book. At least that's what I decided I would do with them. Here is the first one, both the front and the back:
This side had a beautifully printed background already, all I did was add an image, some flowers and lace, and a bit of stamping. The little butterflies which were stamped also.

The back was really plain, so here I created the background pretty much completely.

First Post for the Artistic Stamper

Today is the day that my first project will go up for the Artistic Stamper, whose Design Team I was lucky enough to become a member of.
I decided to make a hanger, using the stamps for lots of texture. You can find full detail on the DT blog here

Freebie Time

Hello everyone, here is your Friday freebie for this week.
As I am a teacher of adult students I am going to be extremely busy over the next couple of weeks with graduations etc and will be away from my computer for most of July, so this will be the last Friday Freebee for a while, sorry. I am also getting a bit stale and keep coming up with the same sort of thing, so hopefully come the middle of August I will be back with some fresh ideas. Thank you for all your kind comments and welcome to all my new followers. You are all very much appreciated!!!

Now there is only the cover to do and a number of bigger tags to fit in various top and side pockets.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
