Lovely cover...just popped over to Calico Craft Parts to take a look. Great effect on the background. The art deco wooden shapes and the wooden "Journal" letters pull the piece together.

It´s a really awesome cover you made here Astrid, and you did an outstanding job. It looks really awesome with the use of the black Gesso.

This is just beautiful, Astrid! This is going to be a lovely AJ cover some day, but it's so pretty just as it is on its own :) :) Love that first layer of texture you put down on the door with your text stamping into it--that's really cool!! :) :) XOXO-Shari

Hi, Astrid - don't know how this one slipped by me!! Beautiful - love the colors and those Calico Craft Parts are stunning!! LOVE that script stamping into the black gesso - fabulous texture and still looks like script. And so happy to know I am not the only one who changes back and forth on colors midstream, lol! You've ended up with a beautiful make in the end, so definitely worth the dithering! xxx Lynn

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
