Mixed media Monday "Friends"

The theme at MMM is "Friendship".

I created my background with collage. I then made a metal frame with Ten Second Studio's metal and tools etc. that I received as a Christmas gift from my wonderful children. The image is a freebee from Nancy Dooren's site.

How beautifully done, Astrid. What fun you'll have with your new Christmas toy! I forgot to give credit to the image on my post. I must go back and change that....

There is just something about metalwork that I find so appealing and this frame is no exception. I love the earthy textural feel of this on your piece. It frames this wonderful collage image so beautifully...and of course you've mounted it and embellished it to perfection.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
