Theme Thursday, Favourite Holiday

My favourite holiday has to be Christmas., so I decided to make my very first Christmas card. Not very seasonal, and I felt a bit weird, but maybe not a bad thing to start early for once.
The image is stamped and embossed, then spunged over and matted on paper coloured with moonshadow inks, and ofcourse then embellished with some ribbon and cord.

Absolutely stunning, Astrid. It's a wonderful card for repeating to send out for Christmas '08. You have done the first one and you have 6 months to finish the rest of them!

I'm partial to Christmas cards in unconventional colours and this one is simply gorgeous! It is very elegant and the use of ribbon just adds the right touch to it.

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
