Three Bookmarks

Hello everyone and welcome. Sorry for the boring post title but I could not think of anything better and what I am showing are indeed three bookmarks...

I had been admiring the lovely images from Nicecrane Design on my travels through blogland for a while now and a couple of days ago decided to order some. And then the lovely Ignacio even send me some more free ones, so of course I had to start making things. To make these I played with several of his sheets and put them together in Photoshop Elements. I printed them out and then came the fun of inking colouring and embellishing. I also ran parts of them through a Tim Holtz embossing folder for added texture.

These two were put together with the help of the Talking Clock pack and the Vintage Bookmark factory. The images were coloured already, I just blended them in and inked around them with various colours of Distress Inks.

The picture in this one came in Black and White and I coloured it with Distress Markers and Inks.
Well, hope you like them, and if you don't know Nicecrane Designs, check it out, - there is so much choice and they are really reasonably priced too.

  2. oh my goodness Astrid! These are sooooooooo gorgeous, that I´m completyely speachless here. Absolutely stunning work. YOu are just so talented girl, and there don´t seems to be anything at all, that you can´t make to look like a million. Is there anything at all, you can´t do? Sooooooooooo stunning, that I just don´t even know enough words to explain it, but I´m truely stunned. I just so LOVE LOVE LOVE these bookmarks.

  3. Hold da op hvor er de flotte, så gennemførte og i en dejlig vintage stil, jeg får da lyst til at lave nogle bogmærker, min mand læser meget, og bruger bare en stump pap som bogmærke, tak for ideen. knus morkaren.

  26. Astrid, hello again. Just popped back to let you know about last year. My blogs and email and paypal were all compromised by a hacker last year so it wiped out all my Dezinaworld work. It really upset me, especially since i have two terminally ill parents to look after and i just did not have the energy to begin again rebuilding everything, Now i still have the same caring to do but I am feeling more positive and ready to rebuild Dezinaworld as a New blog :) thank you for adding to follow me again at the new one. x
