My latest Junk Journal in progress

Hello all, - can you believe it, another post so soon after the previous one.... The reason is that I got so many emails from people saying how much they appreciate tutorials, specially if they are new to creating things like journals, so here goes, a few pages with some explanatory notes.
I am still working on the cover, so what you see here are the inside pages, about A5 in size, made with coffee dyed paper. What you see here is the first page, to which I added some stencilling and stamping. I also added a post card from one of my Etsy collection, called Summer Melancholy. The postcard is attached with a little hinge, so that it flips open to the other side, where you can journal.
Here is another page; on the left a tuckspot, made from one of the tickets that come with the kit, and a tag tucked behind. On the right a belly band that comes from a companion kit to the first one, it's called Romantic Correspondence. Underneath is a little fold out booklet, decorated with images and quotes that come from both kits.
Here you can see the first side folded open. It folds concertina style, and the basic shape is just a piece of thin coffee dyed card, folded in half length wise and then folded length wise again. You then trim each quarter to the size you want, decorate it and then fold it concertina wise.
Here is the other side

Below you can see one of the pockets, I layered it up with lace, cheese
clothh etc, like I did with the little booklet above.
Inside the pocket is a little mini notebook with half size journal pages that come with the companion kit. I printed them on printable tea stained paper. The journal pages themselves are very light, so printing them on stained paper was perfect for the vintage look I was after.
Here you can see the front, and below some of the inside pages, which are partly lined, and partly blank, giving plenty of space for writing or using little stamps or whatever.

There are about 5 double pages, printed double sided and then I simply sewed them together with my sewing machine, but you could of course easily sew them by hand too.

Well that's it for now, I'll finish by showing you some more of the pages that come with the correspondence kit.

Well, that's it for now, and like always, thank you for visiting. Of course I am well aware, that some of you may be tempted to download some of the papers I am showing here simply by clicking on them. But of course that will only give you a low res version and is really stealing my copyright. Also they won't print very well. If you want a high res version than you will have to purchase them from my shop this time, I am sorry. I promise I will soon post some freebies again.

Happy crafting, stay safe and well and hopefully enjoy some sunshine.
xxxxx
