Today I have a selection of simple stamped cards to share, susing Penny Black and Inkilicious stamps. This one was inspired by the work of Jill Foster, who is one of Penny Black's designers and she does fantastic tutorial videos on youtube under the label PB & J.
The same stamp but using different colours, - I also added a couple of die cuts to this one.
Another Penny Black stamp, again with a few die cuts added to finish it off.
And here the last one, kept mostly in sepia ones again, using an Inkilicious stamp.
Well that's it for now, - hope your holiday preparations are going well. I am determined not to get stressed this year, which is a lot easier to do when you are retired.... :o)
Thanks for dropping by like always!

ReplyDeleteAhhhh... deep sigh of pleasure - these moon cards are my favourites so far, I think, especially with the trees. So atmospheric, beautifully stamped, and with that special glow which I always associate with your work.

They are so gorgeous, Astrid, so love the first one, with the snowy trees , so filled with quiet beauty. The next using more colors and same stamps, is just the daylight inviting to more details, and the two last ones are so very b eautiful, too. Love the birds stamp. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration, dear Astrid.

ReplyDeleteGreat take on Jill Foster's videos... I absolutely need to have a try on them too ( I think I quickly watched at least one of the videos you are speaking about, producing an amazing card, I remember my awe!) and your own samples really give me the desire to play with my inks and Penny black stamps tomorrow morning!!
Thank you Astrid. I'm here by chance, but such a beautiful walk tonight on your blog... :)
