I've called this post ringing the changes, as these card are quite different from the previous ones I have shown. They are all made with a collection of G45 papers my lovely daughter gave me for my birthday.
They are all pretty similar, I have just layered up some papers and then finished them with simple die cuts as embellishment, - all in an effort to keep them flat for easy posting.
I am making and showing all of my cards in sets of about 4 or so, I can never repeat the same things to often, otherwise I get bored myself, and I also like to try out different things. Also, different style cards suit different people I think....
This one is on it's way to friends in Australia, the husband is an expert bird watcher, so I hope they like it.
More variations on a theme
And here finally the last one in a slightly different format.
Well that's it for today, thanks for your visit and happy crafting!

ReplyDeleteSo traditional Astrid, there is always a freshness about red and green together. Beautiful use of those gorgeous papers, who ever said red and green should never be seen must have been colour blind!! Thank you for sharing your creativity.

ReplyDeleteThose G45 papers were such a thoughtful birthday gift from your daughter and the cards you made with them are so beautiful! I love the rich colours, pretty images and fabulous designs - amazing 😁. I especially like the robins, they look perfectly at home in the wonderful Christmassy scenes that you created! I can't wait to see more of the cards, I made about 40 cards too this year and they are already written and ready to post...lol 😉. Wishing you a lovely week! J 😊
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful cards Astrid, beautifully vintage and very traditional looking, the papers are certainly beautiful and I love the Seasons Greeting die cut, it is so pretty! I only started my cards the other day, so it is pretty much plain and simple for me this year! Hugs, Anne xx

ReplyDeleteThese G45 papers are gorgeous in the traditional colours of Christmas. Like you, I tend to make different cards for different people and the die cuts add interest without bulk. Lovely work. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour cards never bore me, Astrid. Absolutely beautiful and so inspiring! We've recently moved into a retirement village and am battling to get my craft space sorted out. No cards this year but managed a few simple tags.
ReplyDeleteThey are just beautiful!
ReplyDeletePoor Astrid - 40 cards! That would be punishment camp for me.
I once made 80 cute christmas cards for a market and started in June.I was ready in November. It was a huge job, but I can say that I have learnt very much with this job. What you make often you make brilliant and you get a pro just by practice - that's a fact! But you are a pro already - so you will get a propropro now! LOL!

ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this one, but I'm so glad I saw it in my email. These are sooooo incredibly beautiful. I love the traditional feel for Christas. I'm very impressed with your diversity in each batch of cards. You've stepped out of your norm and I think it's a great way to get back into crafting after a long holiday. A treat for me indeed! Merry Christmas, Autumn
