three simple cards

Hello friends, thanks for dropping in! I don't make cards very often these days, but when I do they tend to be multi layered mixed media ones, which are not always suitable to give to more traditional friends. So today I am sharing three more "traditional" cards, needed for some up coming occasions:
I used my Tombow Markers and the Misty stamp tool for the flowers and Distress Inks for the backgrounds of all three of them.
For this one I used a Chocolate Baroque stamp I have had in my stash for ages.
The next one uses a rose stamp, and I can't remember who made it....

The last one uses a couple of Paper Artsy stamps and the butterfly is from a Tim Holtz set.

Not my usual style at all, but I had fun making them, digging out some rarely used stamps, and may well make more in the days to come.

    Traditional style cards are still lovely to make aren't they and fulfilling in the design sense. These three are gorgeous and I'm sure will fit the bill for three lucky recipients xxx

    Three really beautiful creations Astrid, as a lover of all things floral each one appeals to me in it's own way but probably no surprise that the first Poppy one is my absolute favourite.

    Just as beautiful as everything you use to make, and sometimes it really is great to do something completely different too isn´t it? You did an awesome job as always on these, and as you said, we need to do different for different recipients,. I also always try to make my cards exactly for the one, it´s meant for. And these are beautiful too.

    This kind of cards are a necessity sometimes as they go thought the post so easily! They may not be the style you prefer, but they are beautiful and sure to be loved! I once made what I thought was a really special card for an elderly friend and she dismissed as "Oooh! That's bit fussy isn't it!" She didn't thank me so I was never sure whether fussy meant she liked it or she didn't! Hugs, Chrisx

    Beautiful ,traditional handmade cards, totally out of your confortzone, but very gorgious, you are an artist Astrid and what you do yu ou always do with a good hart and that you can see, so go on with the things you love, you will always create special Art!

    Three gorgeous cards and what fun to use some things that have not seen the light of day for a while. Lovely to have some things that are post friendly too. Especially love the Chocolate Baroque stamp.
