Childhood innocence

Hi everyone
Hope your week is going well! Today I am sharing a little tabbed mini book with you to hold some little tags I made using some lovely vintage digi stamps from Nicecrane Design, the  design I am using are from the Your Magical Name collection.

I'll start by showing you the tags and then the mini book I made from scratch.

I will show you them one by one in a minute, but thought I would show the mini first. It was made with 3 sheets of A4 Kraft card, folded in half and then I cut the tabs with the My Minds Eye Envelope punch board. Throughout the mini I used two paper collections, The Docrafts Madame Payraud collection and a little 6 x 6 collection from Krafty Hands called Emporium of Curiosities.

Here's the cover, using the Madame Payrauds and a Sizzix diecut.

Obviously as I wanted to book to hold the tags, I created pockets through out, in some cases double pockets to hold some stamped sentiment tags I made to compliment the Nicecrane ones.

I used stamps  and a die cut from Tim Holtz to decorate these pages. On the left there is also a scrap from a paper serviette.
I did quite a bit of altering on the papers with paints, gesso and stamps. That's the bit I really enjoy, though I'll also freely admit that I am a vintage paper junkie. The little die cut angel was glittered with some Clear Rockcandy Distress glitter.
Here 's the next page and below you will see how on the facing page I also made a little accordion fold out booklet.
I also used one of the Tim Holtz stencils through out, both on the pages and the tags.

Accordion booklet open on one side with a little pocket.
Below the back side of the little accordion:

The images here are stamps from Stempel Glede.
Here finally is the last double page. Again scraps of paper serviettes were used over lightly gessoed background papers, stenciling was added and then pockets created to hold the various tags.
 Here finally are the tags:

All of them were coloured with Distress Markers scribbled on my craft mat and then using a water brush. I am not normally a huge fan of digi stamps, but I do love these sweet girls. The sentiments were computer generated, they come blank so you could also add names if you wanted.
Here is the set of stamped tags I made still, to fit in the smaller pockets.

And finally below is one double page with the tags all in place, just to give you an idea what it looks like:
Well, that's it, hope you like this little mini. It's been ages since I made something like this, but I did enjoy it....

Thank you for visiting and sorry for the mammoth post.
Have a creative week
