My Tag a Day project is slowly reaching it's conclusion and I want to say again how much I have appreciated all of your support during the last couple of weeks. I am starting to feel much happier in my crafting again and if ever your mojo is low, I highly recommend something like this, just let go and play!
Now onto my tag, to be honest, I really don't like this one, and almost did not show it at all, for some reason it was also really hard to photograph, something kept going wrong with the colours...But then for me this whole project was about the process, not the result, so here you are, warts and all so to speak....
It's another one with a little pocket. Background like usual a mix of Distress Paints and Inks. Stamp is from Indigo Blue. I stamped it several times and fussy cut the flowers and butterfly to add more dimension and also to decorate the pocket.
The leaves are from the Tim Holtz Autumn Gatherings die which has been on my wish list for ages and I finally went ahead and got it. I added the embossed bits with a stylus. The little tag was cut with an ancient old Cuttlebug die and enhanced with a Tim Holtz ticket. Here are some more detailed photos and I do hope you are not getting too bored with these tags, - 3 more to go....
Oh and just in case you have not seen this, I am hosting a little giveaway over at The Artistic Stamper, all you need to do is leave a comment there and here and you could win three colours of Distress Paints.
Thank you for visiting and have a good week
I am adding this to the Indigoblu challenge where the theme is Flowers
You know Astrid I've looked for those warts and I really can't find them. What I see is a beautiful tag with a great little pocket, fabulous flowers, leaves and butterfly and some gorgeous colours. Funny how we don't see what someone else sees. Great job.

Dear Astrid, What a lovely tag this is. I have enjoyed all the tags you have done so far. The colors of this tag are awesome. I will miss the tags when you are finished. I will remember to use your ideas when I lose inspiration. A great idea.
ReplyDeleteNope... I'm having trouble finding warts, I'm afraid! The layering of the decoupaged flowers and butterflies works brilliantly, and the detail of the stylus embossing on the leaves is fabulous (glad you treated yourself to the die - I think it's a wonderful one), and the colours are so fabulous... I especially love that ribbon on the inserted tag, picking up the colours of the flowers - yum!
