Hello everyone and welcome. Lovely to see you here in my little place on the web.....
Like many of you I think, I LOVE little books, they make great little keepsakes and lovely gifts for friends.
This one was made out of one sheet of A4 kraft card. There are many tutorials out there on how to do this
HERE is a link to one of them. Depending on how you glue your book together, it can either have little pockets for tags etc, or not. For this one I chose not to have pockets. This made my book extra strong, almost like a little board book.
Here first of all is the cover:
The stamps through out the book were from The Artistic Outpost new Paper Boy set. I also used some Tim Holtz and Alpha Stamps stamps and as you can see decorated my cover with some sprayed flowers, a home made ticket and brad and a pen nib. Here are some details:
For the inside pages I used a selection of my chosen stamps and some of the wonderful quote stamps from said Mr Holtz.. I'll let the pictures tell the story: First I created the back grounds and then either stamped on smooth card and fussy cut, or on tissue paper to let the back ground show through a bit.
Well, that's it. Hope you liked this little project and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you are having a great weekend!
So lovely! You used these stamps beautfully.
