Hello everyone and welcome! So glad you decided to visit. Today I am showing you what I have called a Trio of Tags. The background on each of them was inspired by Tammy Tuterow's Tuesday Technique, using the Picketfence Distress Stain through a stencil. I kind of followed her tutorial but then gave it my own twist like usual....
I'm off to see some crafty friends tomorrow and I decided to make them a tag each. Here you can see them individually:
I am sorry for the terrible shadows on the photographs but by the time they were done it was pretty dark already and so I had to do them with artificial light. I could not use my flash either as it made terrible glares. I need photography lessons!!!

ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful - winter light notwithstanding... Gorgeous colour blending, and the chosen images work so beautifully. Fabulous ribbons too!
ReplyDeleteI try to time all my photo-taking for the morning and go outdoors (come rain or come shine, and it's usually closer to rain at the moment - but we've got a front porch and an undercover bit at the back too) to catch as much light as possible. Indoors is a nightmare... roll on Spring!

ReplyDeleteOh, these are absolutely eye candy. I love the deep rich tones and the wonderful texture you have achieved. The incorporation of the vintage images is lovely too. I use an Ott light to light my subject with my camera setting on fluorescent setting/no flash. I still have trouble sometimes, but most of the time it works pretty well.

Great tags Astrid - your friends must have been delighted This time of year often has poor lighting for photos - I prefer to use scanner if project is not too 'lumpy' or use daylight bulbs for photos.....but we can still see how good they are
