Second Commission Vintage mini
I was lucky enough to have another commission for one of my vintage style minis. This one is to be in a French style, as the lady who commissioned it loves France. Beware, photo rich post.....

Friday Freebie
This week has been rather hectic, so all I have for you this week are some tags. I have left plenty of space for you to alter them and will show some finished examples below the tag sheet.
So here are some examples where I have printed the tags on smooth thin card stock, added inking, stamping and embellishments and then stuck them to some strong card. As you can probably see I used the bottom three from the sheet.
Hope you have fun playing with the sheet!

Playing with new stamps and a gift bag
Today I am going to visit my friend Louise. She has also just joined the The Artistic Stampers Design Team so I just know we will have so much to chat about. Well obviously you cannot go and visit a crafty friend without bringing at least some crafty goodies along. I just got some new stamps from Heartfelt Creations, so decided to play with them to create a gift bag to put my little gifts in. Hope she likes it…..

By the time this appears on my blog I'll be sitting in her house and she'll have received the bag already, so she won't see it beforehand. Those who know Louise, will also know that she has a very different style from me, but hey, that does not stop us being friends or appreciating each other's work lol.

Ribbon Girls Guest designer
I was delighted to be invited to be one of the guest designers for the Ribbon Girls May colour challenge. These were the colours we had to use, beautiful vintage rose colours.
This is the card I made for the challenge, using some of their beautiful ribbons and laces of course.
If you want to see what the other designers have created and/or join in the challenge your self, head over to the Ribbon Girls Blog. You could even win a wonderful prize.

WOYWW 154
Can you believe it, it’s Wednesday already again and that means showing your desk, why you ask? Well you can check it out here.
I’ve been busy getting some cards ready for a craft fair. That is to say the cards were all done already and have mostly been shown before, I just had to create matching boxalopes (fat envelopes). Here you can see some of them: Sorry the pictures got rather blurry.
The good thing is now that I have put them all away after taking the pictures, my desk is pretty tidy.
Thanks for stopping by and have fun hopping around the world.

Captured Fairy
The other day I found this little bird cage in my local craft shop and immediately fell in love with it. So I decided to put a captured fairy inside it and decorate it with flowers etc. I made most of the flowers myself. The little fairy is an altered Paper Whimsy image.
Unfortunately we are having such bad weather here at the moment that I am finding it almost impossible to take decent pictures. The whole thing looks a lot better in the real....

Using Up Leftovers
After creating various mini books I had loads of bits and pieces left over so I decided to create a lay out with some of them.

Finally managed to put the finishing touches to my mini book that was commissioned (see posts below) Well, that is to say, she herself will do the final touches of course of adding the photos and embellishments etc. But here are the last bits I created:
