The theme at the Three Ms is Artist of Choice. I could have chosen so many as I really don't have one favourite one. However, the one that seems to crop up again and again in my own artwork is William Bouguereau. I just love is lifelike young girls and women. The image in this journal page is from a Lunagirl CD that I purchased a while back.
Beautiful! Love your choice!

ReplyDeleteOh Astrid...Bougeureau is one of my favorites too...he paints such perfect people...this is wonderful I love the elements you have chosen they go so well with the art...simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHere we go again. Astrid's name pops up and immediately the "E" word comes to my lips. I want to say it, but I need to find a new language to describe your artwork! I have opened up my ancient Oxford dictionary and found alternatives for exquisite! "Such as to excite intense delight or admiration, sensitive to impressions, delicate, finely strung." Your picture fits all of those descriptions. You have chosen a wonderful artist and you have done him proud. Superb artwork.
ReplyDeleteMarie said it best, Astrid . . . this is "exquisite" in every way!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
