I do love what you have done here. The really interesting thing to me though, is that this morning on my dictionary.com the phrase-word was "land of nod" That was once. Then I went to Wrightstuff's blog and she referred to her mother's stories taking her to the "land of nod" and now it is your turn with y our main border being from "land of nod." Very odd, this "nod" thing is indeed!
Astrid this is collage is wonderful, full of whimsy and so colourful AND what a fantastic quote, I haven't heard that one before. Standing O from me my friend.
I'm such a fan of your style of art, Astrid. Everything you do appeals to me! Thanks for joining our challenge this week. This is such a nice addition to our growing lineup of stellar black birds!
Wonderful piece of art!! My thought fly to Alice in Wonderland, when I look at your work. In Poland we have very similar sentence, which is: "better a sparrow in a hand, than a pigeon on the roof" :)
I don't know why or how but I nearly missed this one. It has blown me away. Absolutely superb. The design is so creative and clever. Astrid, your artwork is phenomenal.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it is much appreciated and it makes my day! Please don't waste your time leaving anonymous comments, they will go straight to spam!
