Today I got a new sewing machine. For me that was quite an adventure. I had not really used one since my children were small, nearly 20 years or so. Well, I had been saving up, and now I have one and I actually managed to get it to work. Here is a first paper/fabric atc using machine stitching. Can't wait to do some more fabric stuff now.

Sunday Postcards "Butterflies"

It's ages since I have taken part in this challenge, but this week I could not resist the theme as I love butterflies and creatures with butterfly wings. The background is collages, the image is from one of Gail Smith's creative workshops

Four by Four

After recently doing a swap with a friend in Holland, I decided I wanted to make some more 4 x 4s for trading. I have swapped hundreds of ATCs with people from all over the world and have three albums full of them, but I have hardly ever traded 4 x 4s. I made an album for them a while ago, but now I need to fill it with traded cards, so I will be making several more over the next few days as I actually really like the format and it is the perfect size for collages, so a great opportunity to practice my collage skills. If you would like to trade 4 x 4s with me,please be in touch!

Think Monday Think ATC "Alcohol inks on transparent foil"

This week TMTA has a technique theme, using alcohol inks on acetate. I just had a little bit of acetate left and it was a great excuse to get the old alcohol inks out. The stamp is from "Artistic Outpost", great excuse to use that one two for once.

Gothic Arches "Home is where the Heart is"

After visiting my son in Australia, at last some time again to craft. I was struck by the truth of todays theme at GA. While in Oz and with my son, I felt very "at home" there, but it is good to come home again also. Still a little jet lagged, my arch is nothing special, but here it is anyway.

Birthday Card
Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
