The theme at think Monday think ATC today is games. For some reason I decided to do an ATC in black and white in stead of colour as the theme might have suggested. The sentiment on the ATC is one that I actually don't agree with, as I believe that we are active participators in life and we create our own reality. So again, I don't really know why I did it, it kind of just happened... Maybe my brain was palying games with me...
The theme this week is "Birds". Made me wish I had some decent bird stamps but I don't, not ones that would fit on a Moo anyway. Ah well, here is my contribution. The images came yet again from Nancy aka Vintage Stamper. Thanks so much Nancy your collection is amazing!
Finally did a few more pages of my scrapbook. Actually it's more of an altered book as i am not really into traditional scrapbooking. I am using pictures from my own childhood for the layouts. Just did the cover and an other double spread. Unfortunately the scans are really bad...
The theme at TMTA today was colour, we were meant to create really colourful ATCs. I tried, honestly, but I think i failed miserably. Bright colours is just not my thing. Ah well, here is my contribution anyway....
The theme today at Sunday Postcard is "Birds". I love the way this blog gives you notice of the theme ahead, so I had time to do mine yesterday already. Created a background with Lyra watercolour crayons (these are great, like real watercolour in a crayon), blended with some gesso and then overstamped. For once I was really pleased with it as (dare I say it) it looked like one of the free artist papers you get with some of the Somerset Studio magazines. I then used some of the marvelous freebie images that the very kind Nancy Dooren aka Vintage Stamper has on her blog. Thank you Nancy, I love your images!!!
I have been given this award byViv. A lovely surprise and I appreciate it. The rules for receiving this award are 1. The winner can put the logo on her blog. 2. Link the person you received your award from. 3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. 4. Put links of those blogs on yours. 5. Leave a message on the blogs of the people you've nominated. Nominating other blogs was really difficult as there are so many talented peops out there, all who have fab blogs and are truly awesome artists but here goes for my 7 Faye, Wendy K, Sandy, Wil, Hermine, Femmy, Sian
Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!

This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who then must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
